Co-creating outdoor social spaces on Ohio State’s campus
Scope: Biophilic benefits, student social patterns, and existing outdoor space
Co-designers: Ohio State students
research
Our research phase contained two parts. The first was a digital survey to gather a large quantity of data on Ohio State student’s current outdoor work habits. The second was workshops where participants used tool-kits to create their ideal outdoor space.

analysis
During the workshops, each tool-kit was photographed. At the analysis phase, these photos were annotated and compared.
After annotating the tool-kits, we grouped our notes to highlight trends. Trends appear in the blue post-it notes.
